Privacy Policy

Vintagia · Last updated: 22 October 2026. Applies to Vintagia 2.5 and later; the last section covers version 2.4 and earlier.

Vintagia is a single-player hidden-object game by Noqyris (Djordje Subotic). This policy explains what leaves your device, who receives it, why, and how you control it.

Your progress

Your progress and settings — energy, coins, hints, stars, finished rooms, collected curios, renovations and your daily-reward streak — are saved on your device, in the game's own storage, and nowhere else. The game has no account and no login, and it does not copy your progress to any server of ours. Deleting the app deletes it. (It is part of the app's data, so it is included when iOS backs up or transfers your device.)

Advertising

Vintagia shows two kinds of ad, and the ad software starts only after the question described under Your choices. A short video you choose to watch for a stated reward — extra energy, or a hint — plays only when you tap the offer. From version 2.6, a short full-screen ad can also come between rooms: only when you leave a room you have finished, never during a room, never in your first rooms, at most every second room and a few times a day, and never if you have bought anything in the game. There are no banners.

These ads are provided by Unity LevelPlay, an ad mediation service run by Unity Technologies, with ads from Unity Ads and ironSource Exchange (both Unity Technologies). The ad software is part of the app, but it sends data directly to Unity, not to us, and Unity handles that data under its own privacy policy.

What Unity and its ad partners may collect:

What it is used for:

Your choices

The ad software does not start when the game opens, and the game asks nothing when it opens. The first question comes when you leave the first room you finish (if you leave it unanswered, after a room in a later session), or when you tap an offer to watch an ad for a reward. If you own Remove Ads, the game does not ask after a room — only when you tap an offer yourself. Which question you see depends on where your device is, read from its time zone.

In Europe (the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Serbia), where the law asks for your consent before ad software reads your device, the game asks its own question first. It says who shows the ads (Vintagia, by Noqyris, through Unity LevelPlay), what Unity Technologies (Unity Ads and ironSource Exchange) receives and why, and what declining means. Its two answers, Accept and Decline, look the same.

To change your answer, open Settings (in the bar at the bottom of the house screen) → Privacy & ads at any time. If you withdraw consent after ads have started, the game stops loading and showing ads and tells the ad service not to sell or share your personal information. Your answer is not sent to us.

Everywhere else, the only question is iOS's own (App Tracking Transparency): whether Vintagia may use your advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps and websites. The ad software starts after you answer, whichever answer you give. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, your advertising identifier is not shared and the game tells the ad service not to sell or share your personal information, so ads are not personalised with it. You can change your answer at any time in the iOS Settings app (Vintagia → Allow Tracking); Settings → Privacy & ads in the game explains this and opens that page. Remove Ads takes away the ads between rooms, and the video rewards stay your choice.

Report an ad: if an ad looks inappropriate or wrong for the game's age rating, tap Settings → Report an ad. It opens your mail app with a pre-written message to subotic.djo@gmail.com; you decide what to send.

Many Unity ads also show a privacy icon you can tap to opt out of certain personalised ads. For more on how Unity uses this data and the choices you have, read the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy. To make a privacy request about ad data, contact Unity as described in that policy: we don't hold that data.

In-app purchases

All purchases are optional. Payments are processed by Apple; the app never sees your payment details, name or Apple ID. From version 2.6 the app asks Apple directly what you have bought (and brings it back on a new device or after a reinstall: Shop → Restore Purchases); no other company receives your purchases. Up to version 2.5 the app used RevenueCat for this, which received the App Store transaction records together with a random, anonymous app user id (RevenueCat privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy).

Remove Ads (from version 2.6 on sale again) takes away the ads between rooms and gives you the video rewards without an ad. If you bought it earlier, it stays yours, and Restore Purchases brings it back.

Data stored on your device

Besides your progress and settings, the game keeps on your device your answer to its ad question (in Europe) and the date the question was last shown (so a refusal is not asked again for 180 days), a note of your answer to iOS's tracking question, and how many ads were shown today and when (so the limits above hold). None of it is sent to us.

What we do not collect

No name, email address, phone number or contacts. The game has no login, and it sends nothing to a server of ours. We do not track you across apps or websites ourselves, and we never sell data.

Children

Vintagia is rated 4+ and is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children, and it tells the ad software that it is not a child-directed app. Ads are limited to content suitable for the game's age rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child's information has been collected through the ads in this game, contact us below.

Deleting your data

Your progress exists only on your device: deleting the app deletes it. Data held by Unity or RevenueCat is handled under their policies, linked above. For copies of progress stored by version 2.4 and earlier, see the next section.

Version 2.4 and earlier

If you have not updated yet, two things are different.

Copy of your progress. Versions up to 2.4 tried to keep a copy of your progress with a backend provider (Supabase), under an anonymous account: a random identifier that is not tied to your name, email, Apple ID or any other personal information. That backend is offline, so nothing is being sent to it or stored there now, and version 2.5 does not use it at all. Copies stored before it went offline hold only the game progress listed above, each under its random identifier, which we cannot link to you; if you would like them erased, write to us and we will delete the stored copies.

Advertising. Versions up to 2.4 were built with Google's advertising software (the Google Mobile Ads SDK, "AdMob"). Since August 2026 it no longer delivers ads to the game, so their "watch an ad" buttons do nothing — but the software is still part of those versions and starts when the game opens. It may show Apple's question about tracking, in Europe and the United Kingdom Google's consent form, and it contacts Google, which may receive your IP address, device and system information, diagnostic data and, only if you allowed tracking, your device's advertising identifier. Google handles that data under its own policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://policies.google.com/privacy. Updating to 2.5 removes Google's software from the game.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
